• The patent-pending translucent Snappy Saddle exclusive for SSI tube diffusers is available up to 7- (2.2m) long in a single piece. Each diffuser has a single seal on top of the header which represents a significant improvement over conventional saddle mounted diffusers with seals on both sides of the pipe. • SSI manufactures disc diffusers with compression molded membranes. Standard materials are EPDM (pictured at right) and fluoroelastomer layered EPDM. Compression molding ensures a diffuser with even specific gravity and uniform tear resistance. The tear resistance of a compression molded part is multi directional, which is typically not found in injection molded unidirectional parts.
• Our manufacturing experience ensure emulsifying fats cannot leech plasticizers and cause shrinkage and increase hardness, nor are our membranes at risk of flexure failure.

• SSIs PTFE membranes have been proven since 2004 to improve fouling resistance to such an extent that cleanings are in most cases such that cleaning frequency is reduced by a factor of 5 to 10 as compared to standard EPDM membranes from the industrys leading manufacturers.
